I’d lost count of how many times I’d saved out this page, only to go back in and make further adjustments or additions to the dialogue. Some bits there just wasn’t room for, like the Disney cast member being horrified, or the family being shuffled backstage while Mercy busted heads…

The thing I dreaded the most, this whole time, was how to explore Daisy’s Disney incident without actually showing it. I’ve had the entire sequence of events mapped out for some time, but showing it all might’ve required another four pages, which was four more than I wanted to draw. And since Daisy was 13 at the time, showing the deed itself was just never going to be an option. The best alternative I’d come up with, was a series of incident reports –
